Each day you or your staffs was quietly in the background checking that all was going to plan and wondering if there was anything else required. Nikki there has been no negative feedback at all. The lunchtime catering was especially appreciated and enjoyed by all. The whole three days went without a hitch and the extra service given was appreciated.
As this group have not had the opportunity to gather together for three years you can imagine that the conference was valued and an awesome time was had by all.

Of the 100 Shareholders we had attending our Conference, not a single person had a negative comment about anything to do with the Venue or Conference overall.
In all dealings with Distinction staff, from front desk to housekeeping, our delegates found everyone to be helpful, courteous and prompt in anything asked about or for.
I would thoroughly recommend Distinction Rotorua to anyone looking to hold a conference or event. From my initial dealings with Steven Emery and subsequently with Nikki Ellis, the complete experience was pleasant, helpful, positive and lots of fun. Both Nikki and Steven went out of their way to ensure details were covered prior to the Conference and Nikki was highly visible and available during the conference, checking on details, ensuring we were happy with how everything was going – a reassuring sight! Steven provided a list of contacts outside the hotel to cater for all the possible off-site activities / events we wanted to run in conjunction with our Conference. In dealing with everyone involved, the way they all worked with us and each other, ensured the whole 3 days was a most pleasant, well co-ordinated and fun weekend, enjoyed by all.
Well done to the whole Distinction Rotorua team, your professionalism across the whole business is to be commended and was a huge part of making our Conference such a success. It was a pleasure working with you all. Thank you.

I am happy to confirm my experience during the recent few days at your Hotel. I spend a great deal of time in Hotels of all types and of late in a few countries too. I was pleasantly surprised by my initial check in experience with both gentlemen at the front desk willing and keen to ensure that I was familiar with the layout of the hotel for the following conference and to ease my way amongst a check in of a large group. I was particularly struck when the following day not only did I receive a warm welcome in the restaurant for breakfast but also with the lady helping set up the conference area and the willingness of the conference organisers including yourself to ensure that all was in order. The attention of the staff was not a one day wonder or limited to just one or two people- on the following days I was met on many occasions with a cheery “ hello”, “good morning “ or “have a nice day” comments that were genuinely felt – it really is easy to distinguish the genuine from the superficial and all the staff were genuine in their efforts to please. This makes a big difference, so whatever you are doing – please continue – I will be telling my customers , friends and contacts of the good experience and look forward to my next visit.

Nikki was a delight to deal with. She put up with all my last minute changes and was available whenever I needed her, which because of the helpfulness of other staff was not often.
After each conference we ask our delegates to complete feedback forms these cover everything from the conference sessions to the venue, facilities, food etc although the forms are still coming back in all aspects about the hotel and service have rated over 4/5. It’s not easy to please such a diverse range of delegates so this is a credit to you and your staff.
This was one of the most positive conferences that I have organised and attended for OCS and I know that our choice of the Distinction had a lot to do with this. Thank you!!.

Your perceptive listening to our requirements and attention to detail ensured that all aspects of the conference were effectively organised. The way you regularly checked that all was running smoothly was much appreciated.
The conference venue was ideal for the size of our group. The educators commented most favorably on the accommodation and hotel facilities, particularly the outdoor pool. The meals were superb and the service absolutely first rate. Every staff member was polite, cheerful and always willing to help.
